Most software waits for you. You open an app, ask a question, tap a button, set up an automation. We live in a post-AI world, yet most intelligent tools still work this way: you ask a chatbot something and it says something back.

We believe intelligent interfaces can be contextual, proactive, ambient, familiar, autonomous, private.

01. Contextual

01. Contextual

A good friend does not need you to explain who you are every time you speak. Tools should work the same way. They should understand what is happening, what came before, and what matters, instead of making you start from zero.

02. Proactive

02. Proactive

You shouldn't have to remember to ask for everything. If a window opens in your afternoon or if a routine changes, the tool can bring that to your attention. Intelligence should meet you at the moment.

03. Ambient

03. Ambient

Think about walking into a dark room. You could find the switch and turn on the light. Or the room could notice you're there, notice that it's dark, and turn the light on itself. That is how we think intelligence should feel: ever-present rather than summoned.

04. Familiar

04. Familiar

We're a design-first lab, and making a tool more intelligent shouldn't make it less predictable. A light switch shouldn't move to a different wall every morning because intelligence decided there was a better place for it. People learn interfaces. They build habits and muscle memory around them. The surface can stay familiar while the intelligence underneath it adapts.

05. Autonomous

05. Autonomous

Not everything needs a prompt, a confirmation, or an automation for you to configure. When the intent is obvious and the stakes are low, the tool should be able to handle the task. When a decision matters, it should ask. Knowing which is which is most of the work.

06. Private

06. Private

A tool may understand your routines, your context, and the things that matter to you, but that understanding belongs to you. We have no interest in intelligence that comes at the expense of your privacy.
